Entertainment / BBC show The Repair Shop on hunt for Shetland items
HIT BBC TV show The Repair Shop hopes to head north in March to restore any Shetland objects for a Christmas show.
The show, which repairs and unites folk with treasured items, is hoping to come to the isles later this year if they can find a wonderful story and item worthy of repair.
As well as the usual Christmas stories, The Repair Shop team are on the hunt for folk with any Shetland-related objects which are used around Christmas team.
The producers said this could be items associated with tar-barrelling, Foula Yule or any Up Helly Aa items they would love to see restored to their former glory.
The Repair Shop has run for over 300 episodes, with the popular show seeing a team of experts repair family heirlooms and return them to their delighted owners.
