Transport / Saturday’s ferries cancelled, NorthLink says
There will also be no freight sailings tonight or Saturday
NORTHLINK has confirmed that both the northbound and southbound passenger sailings on Saturday have been cancelled due to the windy weather.
It comes after the operator said tonight’s (Friday) sailings were also cancelled.
Services are expected to resume on Sunday, but due to the previous cancellations the Hrossey will now depart Lerwick sailing for Kirkwall and Aberdeen at 4.30pm.
The scheduled time of arrival in Kirkwall is 10pm, with the ferry departing at 10.45pm for Aberdeen.
There will also be no freight sailings tonight or Saturday.
