Paid for contentCrime drama filming moves to Scalloway

SCENES for the latest instalment of the Shetland detective drama series will be filmed at a property located in the Berry Road, Scalloway, throughout Wednesday (5 April).

Location manager Davie Gardner said: “This filming is scheduled to take place from 10.30am to 9.30pm.

“We have requested, and been granted, a temporary ‘stop/go’ traffic management system for the road on this day in order to undertake this filming safely – and to manage both the safe flow of our own fleet of technical support vehicles engaged in the filming process, and those of the general public.

“Each ‘stop/go’ will only last for a few minutes at a time, so hopefully this won’t prove to be too inconvenient on this generally quiet road.

“However, we apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused. Access to properties in the area will be maintained at all times – bar these short delays.”
