High tides bring some coastal flooding

GALE force winds combined with exceptionally high tides on Tuesday have resulted in several exposed coastal areas being flooded at various locations in Shetland.

With high tide at Lerwick harbour just before half past one, Hay’s Dock was fully submerged as Peter Johnson’s photo shows.
