POLICE are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed an altercation outside a Mossbank pub in the early hours of Saturday morning which left a man seriously injured.
The 37 year old man was flown to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary to receive treatment after the incident, which occurred outside the Welcome Inn at around 12.30am.
While a 42 year old man was arrested and remains in custody, police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information.
The police can be contacted on 101 or in person at Lerwick Police Station. Alternatively, people can phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
