A MAN from Barnsley appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Tuesday on a petition alleging assault to severe injury.
Jack Goodall, 22, is also said to have caused permanent disfigurement and impairment.
Appearing in private, he made no plea, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
