News / Cabin cruiser took in water
EMERGENCY services in Shetland were called out on Tuesday night to assist a cabin cruiser that was taking in water while being berthed at the West Burrafirth pier.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said appliances from Bixter and Walls were called out just after 8pm and attended the scene, but they only stood by because the crew of the Enterprise had the means to deal with the water ingress themselves.
The Aith lifeboat was also launched as a precaution but it returned to station when it became clear that its assistance wasn’t needed.
