News / Police looking to trace ‘suspicious’ person in Brae

POLICE are looking for information about a man seen in Brae on Saturday afternoon who they have described as suspicious.

The male was seen at around midday and he was described as having tanned skin and short dark brown hair.

Police are looking to trace the man, who is said to be around six feet tall, in his 30s and of a slim build.

The man was described as wearing a dark blue jacket, beige trousers/shorts, dark grey Nike trainers and a distinctive blue bobble hat. The hat was said to have hanging tassels over the ears and a snowflake/Fair Isle pattern.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lerwick Police Station on 101 or visit in person. Alternatively, they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
