News / Charisma heads to Iceland

LOCAL pelagic trawler Charisma has left Shetland after being sold to Icelandic fishing company Eskja.

The 14 year old vessel, which will be renamed Jón Kjartansson SU, left Symbister in Whalsay on Saturday afternoon.

The 71-metre Charisma recently underwent a refit in Denmark and it had its colour changed from yellow to blue ahead of the sale.
