SOME ferry services to and from Shetland are set to be delayed this weekend due to poor weather.
NorthLink Ferries confirmed that Friday night’s southbound sailing from Lerwick is expected to arrive in Aberdeen up to two hours late.
Saturday’s northbound sailing from Aberdeen also looks set to arrive in Lerwick up to two hours behind schedule.
The freight vessel MV Heliar meanwhile may be subject to delays of up to 24 hours after it leaves Lerwick on Friday evening for Aberdeen.
The return journey from Aberdeen to Lerwick on Saturday is also expected to be delayed by up to 24 hours.
