Yell ferry suspended

THE FERRY service between the Shetland mainland and Yell was temporarily suspended on Friday morning due to a technical fault with the linkspan of the Toft terminal.

The service was running again by 8.30am, but some of Friday morning’s sailings are expected to delayed as a result. It is expected that sailings will operate to the timetable from 10.45am.

Shetland Islands Council’s ferries service apologised for the disruption.
