News / Man admits supply charge
A MAN from Aberdeen who admitted being concerned in the supply of cannabis resin has had his sentence deferred until next year.
At Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday, Alexander Hart, of Beattie pled guilty to the offence which was committed at the town’s Holmsgarth ferry terminal on 22 January.
The 24 year old, who appeared from custody, also pleaded guilty to being in possession of the class A drug cocaine at the same location and on the same date. Both offences were committed while on bail.
Sentence was deferred on the matter until 5 January when two people co-accused on the cannabis charge are due to appear in court for their trial pre hearings.
Hart’s bail was continued, but the court heard that he was already serving a custodial sentence.
