SHETLAND’S footballers went down to a narrow 3-2 defeat to Highland League opponents Formartine United at Pitmedden on Saturday. With the team missing several experienced players in a friendly match ahead of the inter-county clash with Orkney, goals from Sam Ward and Greg Tulloch gave the boys in blue a 2-0 lead before they were pegged back by Formartine.
