News / Very dangerous driving
SHETLAND police want witnesses to an alleged incident of very dangerous driving outside Lerwick to come forward.
Police said the incident took place at 5.30pm on Friday 10 June when two vehicles were side by side heading north up the three lane highway out of Lerwick at Black Hill.
A silver BMW sports car overtook both cars, crossing the double white line onto the southbound carriageway to do so.
As a result two vehicles which were driving south at the time were forced to take evasive action to avoid a crash.
Anyone with any helpful information is asked to call the police on 101.
