News / More careless driving
POLICE in Shetland have reported a second incident of alleged careless driving, after seeking witnesses to two speeding mini buses on Thursday afternoon.
Early on Friday morning officers requested information about a “small, black 4×4”, which they say overtook a cyclist on the main A970 road just south of the Laxo junction around 9.45pm on Monday.
This follows an appeal for information about two white Vauxhall Vivaro mini buses which are alleged to have carried out “a series of careless overtaking manoeuvres” on the main road from Toft to Tingwall between 5.30pm and 6.15pm hours on Thursday.
The police said they were particularly keen to speak to the female driver of a dark coloured Volkswagen Golf who may have witnessed one of the incidents.
