TWO women were taken to hospital after being injured in a road accident near Voe on Thursday morning.

They were involved in a two-vehicle crash on the A968 between Mossbank and Voe at around 10.25am.

The women received cuts and bruises and were released from the Gilbert Bain Hospital in Lerwick late on Thursday afternoon.
