News / Jamiesons’ fundraising approaches £10k mark
MEMBERS of the Jamieson family yesterday completed a fundraising run in Germany and have raised almost £10,000 for charity in memory of their late father/grandfather Harry Jamieson.
Son Stewart, daughter Elaine and grandsons Haydn and Shane, along with Shane’s girlfriend Natalie Timberlake, each completed 20km on the streets of Berlin as part of a 100km challenge.
Well over 200 donations totalling nearly £8,000, with a further £1,579 in gift aid, have been made online for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS).
Shane said the family wanted to thank everyone who had donated, enabling them to raise a sum “way beyond our expectations”, adding that “the generosity of everyone has been extraordinary”.
