News / Easter ferry runs
SHETLAND Islands Council will be running a reduced service on its three main inter island ferry routes on Monday as it is a public holiday.
The Yell Sound, Bluemull Sound and Whalsay services will all operate with a single ferry.
The Yell service will run to the Tuesday to Friday shift vessel timetable, Bluemull will run to the Saturday timetable and Whalsay will operate the Linga timetable.
Meanwhile NorthLink has said their freight sailing son Saturday will be affected by forecasted windy weather.
Southbound Hildasay will leave Lerwick two hours early at 3pm sailing direct to Aberdeen, while northbound Helliar scheduled to leave Aberdeen at 6pm is not expected to arrive in Lerwick until 8am on Monday.
