It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words.

The photo accompanying the report Tavish launches full scale attack on SNP (SN; 26/2/16) on the recent LibDem conference is a case in point.

A decidedly sparse attendance of delegates surrounded by lots of empty chairs.

The bums on seats ratio says it all.
