BROWSING the webpages of the Shetland Museum and Archives will be an entirely new experience after a major facelift.
The new site ,which continues to be available at www.shetlandmuseumandarchives.org.uk, is fully responsive to display on tablets and mobile devices.
New functions include an events calendar, which will display all public events held in the building, and also include details of Gadderie exhibitions planned over the next year.
Marketing officer Emma Miller said “The way people access information online has changed so much since we launched the original website when the Museum and Archives building opened nearly nine years ago.
“We’ve updated the look and layout of the site, keeping all the information that people will be looking for and adding in a few more things which we hope folk will find useful.”
Miller added that the website records over 2,500 unique visitor every month.
