Trio released on bail

TWO MEN and a woman were released on bail after appearing from custody on drug charges at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday.

Appearing in private, Alexander Hart, aged 23, of Aberdeen, and 22 year old Peter Lovie and 30 year old Claire Huntingdon, both of Mossbank, made no plea or declaration and were committed for further examination.

Lovie and Huntingdon were also charged with possession of a knife.

The trio had been searched and detained when disembarking from the overnight ferry from Aberdeen on Friday morning.
