News / Secret stash
A LERWICK woman who secreted a small stash of heroin inside her bra has nine months to prove she can be of good behaviour.
At Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday 27 year old Jaden Patterson, of 11 Nordavatn, pled guilty to being in possession of a £40 wrap of heroin at the Holmsgarth ferry terminal on 2 May.
Acting on a tip off, officers arrested Patterson and found the heroin while searching her at Lerwick police station.
Sheriff Philip Mann decided to defer sentence until October 12 for her to be of good behaviour after reading a letter she had written to the court, which he described as “eloquent”.
