News / Police seek witnesses to Frakkafield motorbike crash
POLICE are looking for witnesses to a road accident last week which left a Shetland man hospitalised with a triple fracture to his left ankle.
Jonathan Moar is recuperating in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary after coming off his motorbike on the A970 at Frakkafield, Gott last Thursday (17 December) morning.
The accident – understood to have involved another vehicle pulling out of a junction – happened just after 7am.
Police Scotland subsequently said there had been a collision between a van and a bike.
Enquiries into the incident are still ongoing and officers are keen for any witnesses to get in touch by dialling 101.
