News / R2D2 is stolen!
POLICE in Shetland are trying to track down a teenager who they believe stole a silver swing bin decorated to look like R2D2, the robot character in the Star Wars films.
It is believed that R2D2 was stolen from the Mareel arts venue on Friday night at around 9.40pm.
They described the male suspect as being in his mid-to-late teens, of slim build, with brown hair and a floppy fringe, wearing dark-rimmed spectacles, an open shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, jeans and trainers.
“Any information leading to the recovery of this distinctive item is sought,” a police spokesman said.
