A LERWICK man accused of following two young girls while carrying a knife has been released on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday.

Ryan Galbraith, of 143 Sandveien, is charged with behaving in a threatening manner by pursuing the 12 year olds while in possession of a knife in open view at the town’s Sandveien on 18 November.

The 22 year old made no plea or declaration and was released on bail on the condition he does not contact or approach the two girls before his case recalls on 25 November.
