Letters / Serconomics
When Serco introduced the Magnus Lounge hospitality charge of £18 on the Shetland ferry, they threw in a couple of free drinks as well, so I have happily invested in that upgrade ever since.
Having just made a Magnus Lounge booking for September, I was disappointed to see that my drinks allowance is reduced now to a single free drink.
Will they be cutting the Magnus Lounge fee proportionately by 50per cent to £9 any time soon I wonder, or is this yet another example of Serconomics?
