News / Flaws hits hat-trick as Orkney suffers heavy defeat

SHETLAND has retained the Milne Cup with an emphatic 6 – 0 victory over neighbours Orkney at Gilbertson Park, on Saturday late afternoon.

The blues were up 2 – 0 at half time with goals from captain Leighton Flaws (penalty) and Finn Watt.

Flaws added his second in the first minute of the second half, followed by goals from James Aitken (60th minute) and Calvin Leask (74th minute).

Man of the match Leighton Flaws crowned his afternoon with a hat-trick shortly before the final whistle.
