PEOPLE are being
PEOPLE are being advised to stay away from Cliff Loch, in Unst, after toxic blue-green algae is blooming again. Effects on people coming into contact with the scums may include skin rashes, eye irritations, vomiting and diarrhoea, as well as fever and pains in muscles and joints. At this stage there is no adverse effect on water supplies.
