News / 27 year old remanded
A MAN has been kept in custody after appearing in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Tuesday afternoon in connection with several charges including the alleged possession of drugs.
Twenty seven year old Ross MacDougall, of Scalloway, appeared on a petition also alleging that he acted in an abusive manner, was in possession of a knife in a public place and struggled with police.
He made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination. MacDougall is expected to reappear in court next week.
