News / Late night chippy assault
POLICE are seeking information from the public regarding an assault alleged to have taken place at the Harbour Chip Shop on Lerwick’s Esplanade on Sunday night.
The incident, said to have occurred at around 10.50pm, has been reported to police by a third party and officers are urging the victims of the assault to make themselves known to police to help them trace those responsible.
In a statement, Police Scotland said it is believed that two men were assaulted and two other men were responsible.
Anyone with any information can contact the police on 101.
