News / Lottery grants
TWO community projects in Shetland have received funding from the National Lottery.
The Tingwall public hall and the Whitedale youth club have scooped over £11,000 between them from the Awards For All Scotland project.
The hall in Tingwall has received £7,835, which is to be put towards new seats, curtains, fridges and a floor cleaner.
The Whitedale youth club meanwhile was given £3,574 to furnish a room that will be used by young people.
Over £1 million has been given away to 191 community groups in the latest round of grants spread out across Scotland by Awards For All.
