A MAN WAS taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation following a house fire in Burra on Saturday afternoon. Four fire appliances were called out to a cottage in Hamnavoe at 1.15pm. A fire service spokesman said one room was badly damaged while there was smoke damage throughout the property.
