News / Told to leave Shetland

A TEENAGER from Barrhead was released on bail and told to leave Shetland on tonight’s ferry, when he appeared from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday morning.

Patrick Colquhoun, of 18 Balgray Crescent, pleaded not guilty to a charge of being in possession of a knife at the Voe hall on Wednesday night.

The 18 year old is only allowed to return to Shetland for his trial date on 5 February 2015 and the pre-trial hearing two weeks earlier.
