Teenager charged

An 18-year-old teenager has been reported to the procurator fiscal for drink driving following a road traffic accident in the early hours of Sunday.

The vehicle with three occupants left the A968 at Wester Scord, four miles north of the village of Voe, at just before 1am.

A female occupant had to be taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital with minor injuries.
