Net warning
SHETLAND coastguard have issued a local navigation warning to mariners after a large piece of netting was spotted 10 yards offshore at Boddam, close to the Shetland Crofthouse Museum.
The net was first reported on Saturday with some of it showing on the surface, but the bulk lying beneath the waves.
A coastguard spokesman said they did not know how large the net was, but they were issuing a warning as a precaution.
