SHETLAND Police are looking for people who may have witnesses whjat they describe as an “unprovoked” assault in Scalloway over the weekend.
The assault is alleged to have taken place around 12.30am on Craigpark Road in the village.
Police are also looking for the culprits behind damage to a section of fencing on the main A971 west side road at Brakes, in Whiteness, which occurred between 9pm last Thursday and 7am on Friday.
Anyone with information about either of these two matters is urged to contact the police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
