News / Ewing to visit
SCOTTISH energy minister Fergus Ewing will address a public meeting in Sandwick’s Carnegie Hall on Monday evening, hosted by pro independence campaign group Yes Shetland.
Chairman Brian Nugent said this was already the third of a series of meetings the group was hosting across the isles.
“These meetings are open to everyone whether Yes supporters, undecided or against.
“There will be a question and answer session after the speakers and all are welcome to chip in to that,” he said.
While in Shetland, the minister will meet with council leaders and representative from the local renewable energy industry on Tuesday.
