News / Missing woman traced safe and well

140203 Emma Leslie

POLICE Scotland has confirmed on Monday afternoon that missing woman Emma Leslie, originally from Shetland but now living in Dundee, has been traced safe and well in the Aberdeen area.

Police had been “increasingly anxious” to trace the 20 year old after she had last been seen in a Granity City club in the early hours of Saturday.

Her family and the police have thanked the public for their help in tracing her.

A friend of Emma Leslie posted on Facebook at around teatime on Monday: “Just to let everyone know, Emma has gotten in contact and is OK.

“Thanks to everyone who helped and spread the word, it’s very much appreciated.”
