Letters / Looking for work
We are from Papamoa Beach, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. We are interested in coming to live and work in Shetland.
We have previously worked in Hertford as housekeeper/ handyman/driver for Fredrick Forsyth (author), and then as caretaker/housekeeper for Mr Urs and Mrs F Swarsenbach at their Ben Alder Estate, Dalwhinnie, Scotland.
While working in Scotland we travelled to many countries such as Russia, Holland, Belgium, France, and most of the isles of Scotland, including Shetland.
On our bucket list, we dream of working and living in the Shetland Islands and would like to meet as many locals as possible. We would also like to visit the Scandinavian countries while based in Shetland.
We have UK ancestry permits that allow us to work and live in the UK. Currently we are able to be out of New Zealand for no more than 30 weeks, but by special arrangement we can stay for longer periods.
We work as a couple, undertaking rolls as caretaker/ handyman/driver/housekeeper.
While working in Shetland we would need suitable temporary accommodation.
If any kind person is able to offer us work in Shetland, please make contact with us on email gg4jag@outlook.com
Many thanks.
Kind regards,
Gary & Judy Gilmour
