Flood warning

THE SCOTTISH Environmental Protection Agency has issued a flood warning for the whole of Shetland for Friday and Saturday, warning that high tides and large waves could lead to disruption.

SEPA say communities exposed to the south east are most at risk from large waves, including Sumburgh.

Friday’s high tide is at 11.30pm and an even higher tide is expected at 11.45am on Saturday.

SEPA offer advice and information on their Floodline on 0845 9881188.
