News / Ferry around six hours late
PASSENGER ferry Hrossey is expected to arrive in Lerwick early on Friday afternoon after its sailing from Aberdeen was disrupted by weather.
According to North Boats operator Serco NorthLink, the vessel eventually departed Kirkwall at 8.30am and is now scheduled to arrive in Lerwick harbour at 2pm.
It is still hoped the Hrossey can set sail again for Aberdeen, via Kirkwall, on schedule at 5.30pm.
The Hjaltland, meanwhile, arrived in Abereden shortly before 7am and is scheduled to depart at 7pm on Friday evening.
