Letters / Make your own decision

A posting on the Facebook page of Yes Shetland recently may go some way in tempering the Yes/No argument, into stimulating debate on the subject of the Scottish Referendum.

“Every single No voter eligible to vote in the referendum is welcome on this page.

“We tolerate no discrimination, rudeness nor bad language here. Our purpose is to gain a Yes vote and to debate with all voters.

“We may be a wee page, but we are not stupid and would welcome comments from Yes, Nos, undecideds, and could not care less.

“Looking at the standard of comment so far we are sure that Yes followers will not be anything but courteous.”

We seek to engage with people, and give answers and information in order that they may make their own decision on the future of Scotland.

Yours faithfully

Douglas Young
YES Shetland
