Heroin charge

A LERWICK man who appeared from custody at the local sheriff court on Wednesday charged with being concerned with the supply of heroin has been released on bail without making any plea.

John Francis Christie Smith, aged 50, of 15 Lovers Loan, is accused of dealing the drug from a house in Holmsgarth Brae, Lerwick, between 12 and 16 September this year.
