Medivac to Aberdeen
THE SUMBURGH-based coastguard helicopter search and rescue 102 assisted the Scottish Ambulance Service on a long-haul medical evacuation on Tuesday.
The crew airlifted a critically ill person from Mid Yell just before midday and flew them straight to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
The helicopter was at Wick airport for refuelling at around 4pm before setting off on the last leg back to Shetland.
