Letters / Dubious management
So, the Shetland Charitable Trust is looking for a Director of Finance and Administration to replace their outgoing Financial Controller.
It was reported in the local media this departure followed a request and acceptance for voluntary redundancy (Goddard leaves trust; SN, 15/07/13)
This begs the question – when is a Director of Finance and Administration different from a Financial Controller?
Could it be when a voluntary redundancy package is required to obtain a compromise agreement?
In my opinion the dubious management of the Shetland folk’s trust money appears to continue, despite the new governance!
