News / Freighters cancelled
SERCO NorthLink has cancelled some weekend sailings of its freight boats Hildasay and Helliar due to strong winds and high seas.
Hildasay’s Saturday sailing to Lerwick from Aberdeen has been cancelled, while Helliar will stay berthed in Lerwick until Monday.
The new schedule will see Hjaltland leave Aberdeen for Kirkwall at 3pm on Sunday and return to Aberdeen at 8pm on Monday before sailing to Lerwick at 6pm on Tuesday.
Helliar will leave Lerwick for Kirkwall on Monday before heading for Aberdeen on Tuesday, though no times have been given.
Full details can be found on the shipping line’s website.
