Lerwick street cordoned off

POLICE in Lerwick have cordoned off Burns Walk near the recently installed bollards to carry out a criminal investigation.

A forensic tent has been put up outside Clydesdale Bank and a police officer is patrolling the scene.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said he had nothing to say at this stage. 

The incident under investigation appears to have happened at some stage between 1.30 and 7am on Saturday.
