News / Bevvy good time
THE BEVVY Sisters went down a storm at the first of their three Shetland concerts on Friday night.
Shetland Jazz Club leading light Jeff Merrifield had never heard them, surprisingly, and was suitably blown away at Scalloway hall.
Even a lightning induced power cut failed to phase them; stepping into the audience they just carried on.
“The Bevvy Sisters are beyond fabulous, they are just one of the very best live acts you are ever likely to encounter,” he said.
He is advising anyone who loves good music to head for Islesburgh on Saturday night or Tingwall hall at 2pm on Sunday to catch them.
