News / Unpaid work for Huntington
A YOUNG serial offender was ordered to carry out 260 hours of unpaid work when he appeared from custody before Lerwick Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Grant Huntington, with an address of Great Northern Road, Aberdeen, was banned from driving for a year after admitting driving with no insurance in February and while already on bail for previous offences.
The 24 year old also plead guilty to behaving in an abusive and threatening manner, and struggling with police officers at an address at Lerwick’s Grostane, in November of last year.
The offence was committed while he was under curfew from 7am to 7pm.
Huntington, formerly of Tingwall, was arrested on a warrant in Aberdeen on 18 June after failing to appear before the court in Lerwick on 30 May.
