Huntington held

A YOUNG Shetland man was locked up after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Wednesday having been arrested on a warrant in Aberdeen the day before.

Grant Huntington, of Formatin Road, Aberdeen, had failed to turn up for court proceedings on 30 May after bail had been granted for two offences in autumn of last year.

The 24 year old has been remanded in custody pending sentencing next month.
